Brigid's Summer Lovin

I love the summer.

I love the warmth, the relaxedness, the free flowing style. But oh my gosh I can't handle being in the sun. The rays hit me and I panic. Give me some shade and I am made. I've put together a photo journal of my favourite summer activities from days gone by that I cannot wait to recreate now that beautiful warm weather is upon us!

Long drives in the summer are a dream, especially to visit our old home in PEI- windows down, wind in your hair (then too windy so windows up and AC on).

Heaven is getting to turn off and lay out for a few hours on the hammock with a good book while Midge naps. This book by Dartmouth writer JD Goosens is such a fun summer read!

Spending hours discovering downtown Dartmouth on foot. So much to see, eat, shop & explore like this antique fire truck at the King Street Station!

Heading out for a stroll in the sand, whether down the road in Eastern Passage or on a jaunt a bit further away is just bliss.

Bring on the maxi dresses, the flowy shifts, the rompers! I’ll be at Bodega this week on the hunt for the perfect summer dress! (I have an eye on one from Lakefield & Co that I hope you haven’t grabbed yet…)

Remember, until the end of the month, you can get 15% off in store & online by using the code AMBASSADORB! I put the adorb in Ambassadorb!

Let’s chat summer style online on twitter @brigmixture. I’ll also be sharing my fun vintage summer finds on Insta @whattheseoldthings and Facebook www.facebook.com/whattheseoldthings!
