Taylor Swift (kinda) comes to Halifax

Last February, our band Quiet Parade decided to try something crazy. We decided to have a Taylor Swift cover show the day before Valentines Day (otherwise known as Galentines Day).

I will admit, at first I thought it was a pretty silly idea. After creating the Facebook event and sending out a few invitations, something crazy happened. The whole thing blew up. Our crew sat and watched the number of attendees climb to astronomical numbers. We quickly talked to the bar where we planned on hosting it and added a second show. The day the tickets went on sale we were sold out in a matter of hours. The show itself was a wild time with the entire crowd singing along to every song. The T-Swift love is a strong one.

Fast-forward to now. It’s happening again! On Friday, November 20th, Quiet Parade is having their CD release party followed by “Wildest Dreams: A (redux) Tribute to Taylor Swift”.

We are extremely excited to show off our new album that we’ve worked extremely hard on with producer extraordinaire, Daniel Ledwell. Afterwards we’ll be keeping the party going with all the T-Swift hits. You might even see some Bodega sequins on stage.

I hope to see you there! Here are the details:
